Early this week marked the beginning of Christian Worldview taught by Dr. Greg Trull from Corban College. Students spent more time studying and mainly stayed close to our home base in Regensburg. Today students plan on going to the Westbad - an indoor adventure swimming pool with slides, hot tubs, sauna's and a fabulous restaurant. A few favorite after-class activities include exploring the coffee shops (there are dozens) in town, and going to various concerts. Regensburg is quite well known for its underground Jazz scene and there are many opportunities to hear the greats jam. As student are growing more familiar with German culture and customs, two decided to get European haircuts this week. Please see the you tube video for a closer look. Tomorrow marks the onset of our first academic tour. Destination: Vienna, Austria. We will spend our time between visits to the Freud House & museum, Schoenbrunn & Hofburg Palaces, the Royal Spanish riding school, the UN (with a personal tour by a diplomat), the Papyrus museum, a concert by the Viennese Philharmonic, and tasting delicious Viennese cuisine & Applestrudel. Please pray for safe travels and healing as several are feeling under the weather with colds and such.
Mission Statement -- In fidelity to Scripture and to the glory of the person and work of Jesus Christ our Savior, AMBEX exists to teach Christian students the vital historical and theological foundations of the Protestant, Evangelical Christian faith, through a personal, comprehensive, and life-changing in-class and on-the-road academic experience, and through involvement in the European missions activities of local churches in Regensburg, Germany, and central Europe.
