Cultural Activities for January 2008

The last few days have certainly been busy for AmbEx students and staff alike. Friday, the students took a morning train to Munich, where they spent the day touring the city and one of its renowned museums, the Alte Pinakothek.

Saturday, Dr. Virginia Cross accompanied the students to Nuremberg, which houses the Germanistiches Museum, Germany's largest, where students spent the day searching for and enjoying specific art pieces for Dr. Cross's German Culture course.

On Sunday, the FCG (Freie Christliche Gemeinde), or Free Christian Church, warmly welcomed the entire AmbEx team. The church serves as our campus and women's dormitory during the week and students were warmly welcomed by the entire congregation. Guest Professor James Venezia presented a provocative sermon before the churchwide potluck.
